With the phenomenal success of BET's "The Game," it's only natural that other networks add more scripted series to their lineups. Now, VH1 has released the trailer to their upcoming 2-hour series premiere event 'Single Ladies,' a comedic drama about women and relationships starring Charity Shea, Stacey Dash, and LisaRaye McCoy.
The show is produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment (Go Queen, she also produces Lets Stay Together) and follows three best friends with three different relationship philosophies living in Atlanta. The show was originally shot as a movie in the summer of 2010, but VH1 liked it so much that they decided it needed to be a new television series. Airing Monday, May 30th at 9 PM ET/PT on VH1, this will be the network's first hour-long scripted show. Lauren London and others are set to make appearances.
