Cuticle Norishment

Thought I'd share a "nail nourishment" secret with you guys today :-). Its winter (at least where I am) and the bitter cold can wreak havoc on our hands, nails & cuticles. So here is a suggested cuticle remedy:

Massage your nails daily. That's right - when you moisturize your hands, spend a few extra seconds concentrating on your cuticles and nail beds. This helps to keep your nails moisturized and feeling the love. While lotion can do the trick, I love using jojoba and olive oil on my nails. Massaging at night with oil makes for a perfect pre-bed pampering session. Burt's Bees Cuticle Lemon Cream ($6, burtsbees.com) makes for a great portable cuticle moisturizer that you can use any and everywhere you go.

Does anyone already use Burt's? If so, what is your opinion?

I use it and it works well. Like a lot of stuff it goes bad in the extreme desert heat. So before it warms up too much I move it from my purse to the fridge and use it much less. Interestingly enough I need it most during the cooler temps. I still use coconut oil on my hands & cuticles before I go to bed.
